An exciting new Children's Chapter Book from NatGeo!

In Ape Escapes, you'll meet Fu Manchu, the orangutan escape artist; Olivia the "cat" burglar; and Peggy the mischievous pup--three furry friends that give a whole new meaning to the word "naughty." Follow along on their true adventures as they cause chaos, get into all sorts of hilarious hijinks, and charm their way into people's hearts. This book will appeal to beginning readers, pet owners, and animal lovers alike. Kids will see themselves in these true stories of well-meaning creatures that sometimes goof up. Aline has been writing for NatGeo pubs since 1998. In that time, she has culled through many hundreds of animal tales. Ape Escapes includes three of the best. You can order it here.

Introducing Aline...

Hi. I'm a freelance writer and certified teacher in snowy northern New York. It's a great combination. I get to write stories and articles for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC KIDS, HIGHLIGHTS FOR CHILDREN, BOY'S LIFE, AMERICAN GIRL, and other wonderful children's magazines and then visit schools to talk about it. I also write for adults and have over a decade of writing both my own bylined stories and ghostwriting other people's stories for GUIDEPOSTS, which was voted America's favorite magazine.

My work has been translated into 22 languages, including Japanese, Turkish, and Spanish and is often reprinted in educational material.

If you'd like me to write for you, teach a workshop, or visit your school, just ask. I'd love to hear from you.
